One postdoctoral position is available at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) for a highly qualified candidate in the field of Failure Diagnosis and Prognostics (PHM). The selected candidate should have a relevant background in applied mathematics/statistics and be interested in applying different mathematical tools and techniques to real-time lifecycle prediction and remaining useful life estimation of a wide variety of engineering devices and systems, in general.
Techniques that will be investigated include Gaussian Process Regression (GPR), Hidden Markov Models (HMM), Kalman Filters, Regression Analysis, Gamma and Wiener Processes, Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms.
