The Advanced Cementitious Materials Lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a graduate research/teaching assistantship at the Ph.D. level. The opportunity will support research on sustainable cement-based infrasturctural materials and future interdisciplinary research.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Science or a closely related engineering or science discipline. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in cementitious materials and concrete technology. Candidates with research experience in cement chemistry, durability of concrete and multiscale material characterizations are strongly encouraged to apply.

The anticipated start dates are May or September 2020. To receive full consideration, applications should be received by May 1st, 2020.
