The candidate is expected to devote 50-75 percent effort towards teaching (equivalent to teaching two to three courses per semester), 25-40 percent for academic advising of all industrial engineering undergraduate majors, and 10-25 percent for other services, to include student recruitment and engagement activities. Experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.

Interested candidates should fill out an application form and upload the required documents in a PDF format using the following link (https://acg-apps1.aus.edu/cen/empapp/apply.php?p=INE-19-02). Notification will be made only to shortlisted candidates who will be selected for initial Skype-based interview.

The department currently has more than 270 undergraduate students and 70 graduate students. AUS is located in the Emirate of Sharjah, one of the seven emirates within the United Arab Emirates. The UAE is a highly diversified, technologically advanced and secure country with an excellent reputation for tourism, business and engineering. AUS, founded in 1997, is an independent, not-for profit, co-educational institution, serving some 5,200 students of more than 90 nationalities.
