The postdoctoral research fellow will play a key role in integrating MRIO modeling techniques for creation of national environmental impact inventories.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the collection, management, and processing of raw data from various sources. This includes cleaning, standardizing data, and developing MRIO tables to support the creation of the MRIO_Lab Suit (software/platform) for carbon footprint quantification.
  • Construct and refine the hybrid carbon footprint model by integrating MRIO and life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies. Conduct environmental impact assessments to estimate the effects of GHG emissions and other climatic stressors.
  • Write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and technical reports summarizing research completed.
  • Present research findings at academic conferences and project meetings
  • Provide guidance to graduate students involved in the project.
