The School of Engineering at Tufts University seeks a part-time lecturer to teach first-year engineering and computing courses. Applications in Engineering is offered in the fall term, focusing on introducing students to the engineering process, teamwork, and ethics through an interesting topic or area of practice. Introduction to Computing in Engineering, offered in the spring term, is a first programming course offered in either Matlab, Python or Mathematica that focuses on computing fundamentals in the context of engineering applications. The course includes topics that explore the implications of computing and engineering design choices.

Qualifications
The ideal Lecturer candidate will possess prior teaching experience, especially with undergraduate students, and have an engaging teaching style. The candidate must be willing to delivery coordinated first-year engineering content and have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring. Candidates must have a graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
