Dean / Director
SR University is looking for experienced administrators with a strong track record of research and publishing, to fill the role of Dean/Director. Distinguished academicians, eminent scientists, and experienced corporate professionals with a Ph.D. and at least 15 years of relevant work experience in an industrial or academic setting are welcome to apply. Leaders applying should
national and international trends in the education sector.
The Dean/Director would be required to demonstrate various measures that they have done during their career that have contributed to quality education in India or abroad. They should be able to translate vision and mission into reality.
Leaders applying for the post should have the following experience, and similar contributions are expected at SRU.
- Proven track record of success in top-tier Indian and international academic institutions and institutes;
- Remarkable accomplishments in management and leadership in the context of planning and organising academic, research, industrial, or professional activities;
- Extensive, high-quality research output in the form of research papers, books, patents, and other publications;
- Capability to undertake and lead sponsored research, industry consultancy and related activities;
- Experience in directing the project work or dissertation of postgraduate or research students.
Professors / Associate professors
The university is looking forward faculty with strong academic / research credentials in emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Analytics, IoT and Product Design. The applicant should have an established track record of high-quality teaching and research. Strong industry connections and experience in handling sponsored research are desirable.
- At least five/ten years of teaching or research experience in a reputed university/institute/industry. A good track record of supervising PhD students is desirable.
- Shown significant contributions in designing innovative curricula, and development of new courses.
For these positions, it is imperative that candidates possess strong interpersonal, organisational, managerial, and leadership abilities as well as the ability to work well in a team.
