Job Description:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has 26 faculty members, with undergraduate and graduate enrollments of approximately 425 and 125 students, respectively. The Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science are dedicated to the goal of building a diverse and inclusive teaching, research, and working environment. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University, the State University of New York invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer. The successful applicant will have outstanding abilities in teaching and mentoring students. Teaching responsibilities may include core mechanics courses, laboratory courses, senior project, and other advanced elective courses in which the candidate has expertise. Responsibilities also include mentoring students and serving on departmental committees.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline. Lecturer positions are appointed with three-year contracts, renewable upon satisfactory review.
