Energy conversion and systems group at School of Engineering invites applications for
Postdoctoral Researcher in numerical modeling of heat and mass transfer for sorption thermal energy storages
We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher with excellent credentials, who would like to do research on transport processes, especially related to thermal storage materials.
Requirements
The applicant should have solid experience in computational studies of convective heat/mass transfer and at least in one of the following topics: combined heat and mass transfer in powders or porous materials, phase changes, adsorption, reaction chemistry. Experience in materials science and use of OpenFoam are considered beneficial but not necessary.
What we offer
This Postdoctoral Researcher position will be filled initially till the end of 2025, with a possible extension of up to 2.5 years. The expected starting salary for a Postdoctoral Researcher is approximately 3850 €/month, depending on experience and qualifications.
