One Post-doc research associate position is available in the smart city research institute at the American University of Sharjah (AUS). The candidate is expected to start in Fall 2019. The appointment is for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of renewal depending on performance and funding availability. The research focus would be on ‘dynamic modeling of a cold supply chain fleet’. Prospective candidates should hold a PhD in operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer engineering, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply. Prior research experiences in software or hardware are preferred, but not required.

- Should hold a PhD in operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer engineering, or other relevant fields.
- Proven competence in developing heuristics algorithm using C++ or any other programming language.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing technical research papers.
- Ability to work independently.
