Limited Term Faculty Appointment (LTA) in Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering CONCORDIAUNIVERSITY, the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a Limited Term Appointment (LTA) faculty members in the area of Structural Engineering. Applicants must possess a PhD or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. The candidate must have a strong background in Structural Engineering, and commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the related area. The LTA will teach up to seven courses in the academic year, depending on the start date. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association is required.
The LTA appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor, with a starting date of January 1, 2019 or soon thereafter. Applications should consist of a letter of intent, a current CV, a statement of teaching philosophy and interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness and the names of three referees. Only short-listed candidates will be notified. Knowledge of the French language is an asset.
