Multiple Faculty Positions at the Faculty of Engineering, Islamic University in Madinah: Full Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.
The Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University of Madinah seeks applications for multiple faculty positions starting during 2024. Appointments will be at the full, associate, assistant professor levels. We seek candidates who will provide inspiration and leadership in research, contribute proactively to both undergraduate and graduate level teaching in the Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments and add to the diversity of the academic community. Ideal candidates will have experience with ABET and NCAAA accreditations and can help join the programs accreditation efforts, as well as ISI-indexed journal publications. They must have established or exhibit the potential to establish a strong, externally sponsored research program.
Faculty duties include teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, advising students and conducting research. Candidates must hold an earned Ph.D., research and teaching experience in the relevant field of engineering to apply for the respective faculty positions.

Electrical Engineering:

Mechanical Engineering:
Applicants must possess a strong expertise in one or more areas:
Thermo-Fluids, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Thermal Engineering, Combustion Technology, Fuels, HVAC, Design and Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Machine Design, Computational Design, Mechatronics and Robotics, Vibration and Control, Advanced Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, Materials Characterization, Metals Processing, Polymer and Composite Technology, Renewable Energy, Industrial Management.
Civil Engineering:
Applicants must possess a strong expertise in one or more areas:
Transportation Engineering, Construction Management, Water resource Management, Environmental Engineering, etc. or any other innovative area which is part of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Industrial Engineering:

Chemical Engineering:

Process Control, Modelling and Simulation, Chemical Reaction Engineering & Catalysts, Environmental Pollution Control, Thermodynamics, CO2 Disposal, Process Safety, Renewable Energy, Separation processes.
Benefits and Conditions:
Islamic University of Madinah offers an income tax free compensation package, commensurate with rank and experience including a 12-month salary, summer vacation, accommodation package, annual round trip airfare to home country, and end of contract bonus. The university has its own medical and dental clinics and all employees have medical coverage with the national Saudi health plan.
End of Service:
The employee will be paid an amount of equal to half a month’s basic salary for each of the first five years of employment; this is converted retrospectively to a month’s salary after five years of service and for each of the subsequent years.
