**About Us**:
Our cutting-edge Neural and Nanobiosensors Group at American University of Beirut is seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of neuroscience and biosensor technology to address critical questions in health, medicine, and beyond. **Position Overview**:
We are looking for a PhD student who is passionate about exploring the intersection of neural science and nanobiosensors. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in innovative research projects that will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and their applications in fields such as neurobiology, medicine, and biotechnology. As a PhD student in our group, you will have the chance to make significant contributions to the scientific community while advancing your own academic and professional career.

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct in-depth research in the field of neural and nanobiosensors.
- Design and fabricate nanobiosensors for neural applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research projects.
- Analyze experimental data, draw conclusions, and prepare scientific publications.
- Present research findings at conferences and seminars.
- Contribute to the mentorship and guidance of undergraduate students in the lab.

**Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Neuroscience, or a related discipline).
- Strong laboratory skills and experience in biosensor development or neurobiology.
- A genuine interest in interdisciplinary research and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
