Reporting to the Department Chair, the limited-term assistant professor is required to primarily engage in the instruction of up to four courses per academic semester, especially at the introductory levels, with a limited load for related service activities. All limited-term positions are non-tenure track, academic (9/10 month) year appointments. Appointments are for one year only, although there is the possibility of reappointment should funding permits it and based upon satisfactory performance. All reappointments are made on a one-year basis. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
