We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ph.D. student to join our dynamic team in the area of optimal control.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a background in optimal control, parameter estimation, or reinforcement learning.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A good understanding of heat transfer and fluid mechanics is desirable.

The Ph.D. student will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of faculty and students having diverse technical backgrounds in computational modeling, manufacturing control, and agricultural engineering.
