JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) seeks applicants for a teaching faculty position opening at the Instructor level in all areas including microelectronics, power electronics, semiconductor-related engineering, computer engineering, digital circuit design, embedded systems, cybersecurity, and advanced digital system design.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The individual selected for the position will be primarily responsible for teaching a variety of courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as advising students and student projects as part of WPI's unique project-based curriculum. A qualified candidate will hold an advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related discipline and must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching a broad range of topics in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in one or more of the areas of microelectronics, power electronics, semiconductor-related engineering, computer engineering, digital circuit design, embedded systems, cybersecurity, and advanced digital system design.
