This role bridges academia and industry, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our industrial partner in the rapidly evolving medical rehabilitation sector. The selected applicant will lead and coordinate the development of robotic solutions for healthcare, transforming research insights into real-world technologies that advance patient well-being and scientific progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess research inventions for their potential to be transformed into robotic solutions for healthcare and rehabilitation, evaluating feasibility, scalability, and compliance with medical standards.

Lead and coordinate the development of robotic systems for rehabilitation, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and regulatory requirements.

Drive the transition of research concepts into applied technologies in collaboration with the industrial partner’s development team.

Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure efficient and timely execution.

Facilitate technical communication and integration between academic and industrial teams for seamless collaboration.

Provide strategic input on product design, usability, and compliance for medical robotics.
Job Requirements:
-
Proven experience in building robotic systems for rehabilitation or healthcare applications, including compliance with relevant medical standards and regulations.

Strong industrial background in rehabilitation technologies and familiarity with clinical workflows.

Experience managing cross-functional teams for medical product development (hardware, software, and design).

Direct experience in the development of rehabilitation robots (upper or lower limb).

Demonstrated track record of academia-industry collaboration, preferably supported by publications or patents.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
