The Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department at The University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. Research interests and expertise in modeling and data analyses of hydrologic processes.

Successful candidates will hold a terminal degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field and demonstrate a record of academic achievement in research. The College and/or the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department will establish a series of structured merit-based evaluations. Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent upon demonstration of research productivity.

This Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to conduct research in the general area of hydrology. The candidate will work on the evaluation and development of the next-generation (eco)hydrologic models, and produce novel scientific insights regarding hydrologic responses and their controls during climate extremes. 

Candidates will need to have completed their Ph.D. or have it completed by the start of employment.
