SUMMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Electric and Computer Engineering (ECE) department is seeking to hire a tenure-track Computer Engineering faculty member at the assistant/associate professor level with specializations including but not limited to smart edge devices and edge AI, AI/ML for security and reliability, and security and reliability for AI/ML at the edge, cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and human-computer interaction (wearable technology). The preferred candidate's research focus will be in interdisciplinary application areas such as securing critical infrastructure (e.g. power grid, water), smart cities, healthcare, robotics and automation, biomedical, marine, sustainable energy, and intelligent transportation systems. Applicants with relevant research/dissertation experience that complements one or more of these areas are encouraged to apply.
