Job Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Schaefer School of Engineering and Science, Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for two part-time adjunct faculty positions. The starting date is flexible and can range from Fall 2023 through Spring 2024. Stevens offers an intellectually vibrant, diverse, highly interdisciplinary, collaborative and innovative community and is a great place to work. The primary responsibility will be the instruction of online graduate courses, including our CPE 690: Introduction to VLSI Design and CPE 695: Applied Machine Learning courses. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Successful candidates should have a demonstrated interest and commitment to excellence in graduate education. Successful candidates should also be familiar with the delivery of courses in the online environment.  Finally, the successful CPE 690 candidate will be able to perform minor course development duties/content updates. 

The ECE department at Stevens currently has 27 full-time faculty, including 1 NAE member, 7 IEEE Fellows, 3 NAI Fellows, and 8 NSF CAREER recipients.  ECE faculty are dynamic, collaborative colleagues dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation of electrical and computer engineers and technical leaders through innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful research and education programs.
