Michigan Technological University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for the position of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Principal Lecturer, or Professor of Practice. Applicants for the position are required to have a minimum of an MS degree or equivalent professional qualifications (for Professor of Practice, minimum BS degree with significant industrial experience) in electrical, computer or robotics engineering or a closely related discipline.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach effectively in electrical, robotic, or computer engineering, communicate effectively with students, professionals, and the general public, and successfully work with diverse individuals.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has 669 undergraduate students, 117 graduate students, 23 faculty, and 10 support staff, with aggressive goals for growth in coming years. The department has active research programs in image and signal processing, remote sensing, robotics, communications and sensor networks, electric energy systems, and electrophysics.
