Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Computer Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2020. We are seeking candidates in computer engineering with expertise in security or privacy in cyber-physical systems, but outstanding candidates in all areas of Computer Engineering will be considered. This include but not limited to computer systems or architecture, networking, artificial intelligence, and embedded system designs. A doctorate in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island offers programs leading to the BS, MS, and PhD degrees. The interdisciplinary nature of our Department will provide the new faculty member with opportunities to interact with a broad range of colleagues. Our new (opening Sept. 2019) 180,000+ square foot engineering building will provide an excellent environment for interdisciplinary research collaborations.
