Dr. Hojat’s research group in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Memphis is seeking to hire a graduate student for Spring 2025. This position focuses on cutting-edge research in metal additive manufacturing, specifically involving in-situ monitoring and process optimization using state-of-the-art equipment.
Candidates with experience in two or more of the following areas—manufacturing, machine learning, image processing, or instrumentation/data acquisition systems—are encouraged to apply. The position offers a stipend, full tuition coverage, and health insurance.
