Postdoctoral Research Fellow Positions on Intelligent Energy System
Two postdoctoral researcher positions are available immediately in the Convergence Intelligence Lab at the Computer Science and Engineering headed by Prof. Bong Jun (David) Choi (https://sites.google.com/view/davidchoi/), and Smart Grid Communications Lab at the Electrical Engineering headed by Prof. Sung-Guk Yoon (http://sgcl.ssu.ac.kr/) at Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea. The positions are funded by National Research Foundation (NRF) Korea and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
The postdoctoral researcher will be working in the areas of smart grid networks, in the context of artificial intelligence, distributed algorithm, big data analysis, security, and communication network. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to have solid knowledge in communication networks and power system. Backgrounds in the distributed algorithm, edge computing, data analysis, optimization, game theory, and deep learning algorithm are highly desired. There will be opportunities to co-supervise Ph.D., MS, and UG students. The positions will be contracted for one year (can be extended upon satisfactory progress) and have a highly competitive salary, terms, and benefits.
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
