Materials and Manufacturing Faculty Position:
The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) and the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Oklahoma State University are pleased to invite applications for two (2) tenure-track faculty positions at its Helmerich Advanced Technology Research Center on the OSU-Tulsa campus. The successful candidate must have demonstrated potential for developing a strong externally funded research program in an area of materials engineering or advanced manufacturing processes. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated strengths that are synergistic with manufacturing and materials research activities in the areas of advanced fabrication and manufacturing processes, or the scaling of energy storage materials and sustainable energy technologies. The successful candidate must have a sufficiently diverse academic background to teach in the mechanical engineering undergraduate curriculum. A Ph.D. in a field closely related to mechanical, manufacturing or materials engineering is required; Salary and other compensation are competitive with major R1 research institutions.
