Work description
- Study of the EDIBON Computer Controlled Process Control (https://www.edibon.com/en/computer-controlled-process-control-electronic-valve).
- Specific study of each sensor and actuator.
- Development of some performance tests with open loop control.
- Development of some performance tests in closed loop control.
- Write the scholarship activity report with some proposal of experiments using the system.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- Enrollment in the master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge in programming, sensors, actuators and feedback proccess control, through the frequency of related Curricular Units.
Preference factors
- Previous participation in extra-curricular activities related to robotics (Portuguese Robotics Open, Extra-curricular Robotics Groups, summer internships in robotics, etc.).
Maintenance stipend: € 651,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
