Work description
- Implement the electro-mechanical integration of an underwater sonar sensor to enable bathymetric data collection.
- Incorporate sonar firmware into the USV’s operating system for online operation.
- Design and implement a geo-referenced bathymetric mapping approach for accurate underwater terrain assessment.
- Prepare technical reports detailing system integration, methodologies, and performance evaluation.
Academic Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree (or equivalent).
Minimum profile required
- Experience in the adaptation and integration of electronics in drones, including pcb design and manufacturing.
- Elaboration of studies regarding electromagnetic compatibility.
- Experience in VR (Unity).
- Past involvement in research projects, documented with proof.
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree (or equivalent) related to electronics and robotics.
Preference factors
- Knowledge in sensor integration and visualization.
- Use and programming C/C++ and Python.
