Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The postdoc research associate will work on a project related to electrocatalysis and fuel cell, supervise undergraduate and graduate students, and manage equipment in the lab.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
PhD.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. degree on Materials Sciences and Engineering, Materials Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, before the start date.

The candidate must have prior research experiences and publications in the areas of electrocatalysis and fuel cells.

The research team welcomes individuals who are highly motivated, self-driven, and responsible and who have strong background on the following areas: (1) Synthesis and characterization of metal/metal oxide nanomaterials (hydrothermal, sol-thermal, chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition); (2) Assembly and testing of fuel cells (I-V test, cycle life test, linear scanning voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, etc.); (3) Electrocatalyst performance characterization (tafel plot analysis, electrochemical active surface area measurement, etc.)
