- Foundation Model-Based Diagnostics for Brain Disorders
- Translational Research for Clinical Applications of Advanced Medical Devices and Technologies

 3) Department of Energy Science and Engineering
- Interdisciplinary research combining energy harvesting, biofuels, soft robotics, and human-machine interface
- Sustainable energy solutions for powering next-generation wearable devices
- Wearable energy harvesting systems for powering electronic devices
- Biofuel-powered soft electronic skin for human-machine interfaces
- Multiplexed and wireless sensing technologies for advanced health monitoring and interaction

4) Department of Brain Sciences
- All areas in Brain Sciences (e.g., Molecular / Cellular / Systems / Cognitive / Computational neuroscience)
- Advanced Techniques applicable to Brain Sciences (e.g., Neuroimaging, Neuroelectronics, Omics, Bioinformatics, and Synthetic Biology)

5) Department of New Biology
- Candidates with exceptional research capabilities in the fields of aging and developmental biology, or across all areas of life sciences

4. Qualification
 ⦁ Applicants must hold a MD-PhD degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline at the time of the appointment.
 ⦁ Proficiency in English is required, as all lectures at DGIST are conducted in English.

7. Matters of Consideration
 ⦁ Selected candidates at each stage will be notified individually with detailed information regarding the terms of employment.
 ⦁ The appointment shall be canceled under the following circumstances:
   - If a false entries or modifications are found in the application form.
   - If the candidate fails to obtain a doctoral degree at the time of appointment.
 ⦁ The appointment and acceptance will also be canceled if the candidate, or someone closely related to the candidate, engages in any form of misconduct, such as making improper requests, exerting pressure, or offering financial benefits in relation to the hiring process, resulting in their unfair selection.
 ⦁ Appointment will be restricted if the candidate is subject to disqualifications, set out in the State Public Officials Act, (Article 33), or the DGIST Regulation on Faculty Personnel Management, (Article 12).
