Multiple Tenure-Track Faculty Positions
The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM), housed in the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering & Architecture (MSFEA) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions.
Applicants from all research areas related to Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management will be considered. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with at least one degree in engineering by the date of appointment. Preferred research areas include data science, decision analysis, operations research, project management, and human factors engineering. Candidates with teaching experience, industrial or post-doctoral appointments and a record of grant funding and scholarly publications are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants interested in visiting positions are also welcome to apply. Faculty members delegated by the IEM department will be attending the informs annual meeting at Atlanta, GA, in October 2025, and the IISE Annual Conference at Arlington, TX, in May 2026. Consideration of the received applications will begin as of October 15, 2025, and will continue until the positions are filled. The proposed starting date is September 1, 2026.
