An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Fellow to join the Water, Environment and Agriculture research team to conduct leading edge research in ensemble hydroclimate forecasting and in applications of forecasts to management of water resources and hazards. In this role, you will collaborate to enhance interdisciplinary research within the University and with outside organisations. You will work with external water information and management agencies to develop and deliver research projects to meet technological requirements of users and publish research in high quality peer reviewed journals.
- You will have a PhD in environmental engineering, earth system sciences, environmental sensing, applied mathematics, computing sciences or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated high level of research experience in mathematical, statistical and computer modelling, in dealing with large data sets, and in using high performance computing.
- A strong track record of quality research as evidenced by research publications in high-quality journals, conferences and technical reports.
