Teaching Term Appointments


The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Memorial University of Newfoundland, invites applications for teaching term appointments in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering, commencing April 1, 2025, or earliest thereafter. Candidates should possess expertise in at least one of the following areas:


• Digital Hardware
• Software Engineering
• Power Systems


Candidates should hold a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a cognate area. One appointment will be for a term of three years (subject to renewal) at a rank appropriate to the qualifications of the candidate. The other appointment will be for a term of nine months. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in the academic programs of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing laboratories, designing new course materials and supervising student projects. The successful candidates will be expected to register as professional engineers in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
