Tenure Track Faculty Position

The College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to support the mission of its Institute for Micromanufacturing (IfM). We are especially interested in candidates with demonstrated research accomplishments in the fields of materials science and materials engineering, particularly machine learning applied to materials and/or manufacturing research. Opportunities exist for the ideal candidate to leverage state-wide resources being coordinated through a newly funded $20M five-year project (2020-2025) to establish the Louisiana Materials Design Alliance (LAMDA).

Successful tenure-track candidates are expected to actively participate in multidisciplinary research efforts in the College; initiate, build and sustain an externally funded research program; and supervise masters and doctoral students. Commitment to excellence in teaching and quality university- and professional-level service are also expected. The College is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Applicants must have an earned doctorate and undergraduate degree from any field of Engineering or Science with close alignment to materials science and/or materials engineering. To apply:
