Project overview: The work, conducted under the opti-MOVES project – Quality management of intermodal public transport, aims to developed a prototype of an information system to support the decision making regarding planning, monitoring and optimization of multimodal urban public transport operations.
Academic Qualifications: PhD in Engieenering
Minimum Profile required: Good knowledge in optimization and simulation modeling;ability to work in multidisciplinary research projects; experience in writing scientific articles; English proficiency;strong communication skills.
Preference factors: Analysis and design of information systems (requirements evaluation, data modeling and database structure); object-oriented programming.
Monthly Grant: €1495,00 according to the Stipends values of the grants awarded directly by the FCT.
Funding Entity: ERDF – European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalisation – COMPETE 2020 Programme, and by National Funds (PIDDAC) through the FCT/MCTES.
