SCALE AI Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence for Supply Chain
Concordia University seeks an outstanding candidate for a position in Artificial Intelligence for Supply Chain at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be required to work with the university to prepare and apply for a SCALE AI Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence for Supply Chain. The five-year research chair comes with an attractive funding package evaluated at approximately $2M. This call extends to all individuals with demonstrated expertise and interests in the following: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, supply chain analytics, operations research, use of AI to solve real-world problems in the areas of, but not limited to: network planning, inventory management and warehousing, supply chain competition and collaboration, global logistics, forecasting, supply chain integration. The position requires a demonstrated ability to work in collaborative multidisciplinary settings.

John Molson School of Business (JMSB) is one of the leading Business Schools in Canada. The Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS) hosts over 18,000 students and 851 faculty members across its 20 departments. The faculty is a fertile ground for multidisciplinary research. Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Production and Operations Management, or a closely related field. The successful candidate shall be internationally recognized as a leader in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, supply chain analytics and operations research. She/he shall have an excellent track record in leading major research initiatives, attracting strong external funding, publishing in the highest impact and prestigious venues, supervising graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Moreover, the applicant must demonstrate an original and innovative research program of the highest quality, and evidence of developing and maintaining research collaborations. The language of instruction at Concordia is English; however, knowledge of French is an asset.
The successful candidate will be offered a position in one of the three aforementioned schools/faculties according to his/her education/research background. Membership or eligibility for membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in the province of Quebec, is desirable for a successful candidate wishing to join an engineering department.
