Instructor of Civil Engineering in Environmental Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Memphis is seeking qualified applicants for an “Instructor” position in all areas of Environmental Engineering. The position is a non-tenure track appointment. Duties consist of primarily teaching undergraduate-level courses, although there may also be a need to teach graduate courses.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in civil engineering or a related field or earn their degree within the first semester of the appointment. Candidates should have strong communication and teamwork skills. The anticipated start date is August 2022. Experience in the effective delivery of instruction at the college level is highly desired. This position is for one year, and based on funding, it may continue for an additional year.
