RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-track Research Assistant Professor in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics with a focus on aeronautical applications. The position requires an earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
The Department has around 1200 students in its undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The Department has more than 35 faculty members with active research in various areas of mechanical engineering and industrial engineering.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, must be committed to excellence in research and teaching, and are expected to play a significant role in improving the Department's research programs.
