Several Ph.D. level graduate research assistantships are available at the Pennsylvania State University. The assistantships may start as early as in Spring or Summer 2020. The assistantships are housed in the Architectural Engineering department within the College of Engineering. Background in structural engineering and expertise in finite element modeling are required. Familiarity with probabilistic methods and uncertainty quantification techniques are desirable. Highly motivated, energetic individuals with an unparalleled work ethic are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with a master’s degree are preferable.
