The Moini Lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Princeton University is seeking a Post-doctoral or more senior Researcher candidate with a strong background in the following areas: alternative cements (e.g., chemistry of calcium silicate and carbonate cements), physics of diffusion and carbonation, early-stage rheological characteristics, life cycle analysis, and design and additive manufacturing of architected materials. Previous experience in experimental, numerical, and parametric design research and experience is a plus.
The project involves entrepreneurial activities, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to lead translational research endeavors and collaborate with other members of the lab.
Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. in a relevant field, including but not limited to cement chemistry, material science, or structural materials and mechanics. Appointments are for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on continued funding and satisfactory performance. The Term of appointment is based on rank.
