The Department of Computer Engineering and Sciences at Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida is accepting applications for teaching (non-tenure) track faculty in Electrical Engineering. The department has ABET accredited programs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering as well as SACS regionally accredited graduate programs including Systems Engineering. We are specifically seeking teaching faculty in Electrical Engineering with primary emphasis on electronics, semiconductor devices, and the junior/senior-level capstone design courses. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Successful candidates will be expected to teach and advise at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Preference is given to candidates with industry experience. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
The anticipated start date is August 2020. The position is intended primarily at the Assistant Professor level; however, an exceptional candidate with an established record may be considered for a higher-level appointment.
