The Infrastructure System-of-Systems (I-SoS) Group in the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) has multiple open graduate research assistants (RA) at the Ph.D. level in the area of resilient infrastructure systems for Spring 2019. Qualified applicants will be working on interdisciplinary projects about Urban Resilience, Infrastructure Systems, and Complex Networks using solid analytical and computational modeling skills. The required qualifications for this position include:
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, or other related engineering degrees
Strong academic background (high GPA)
Strong computational, mathematical, and analytical skills
Excellent written and communication skills in English (Excellent TOEFL and GRE scores)
Proficiency in computational programming (Java, Python, etc.)
A reasonable record of academic publications
Highly motivated, ambitious, self-driven, and team player
