Job Purpose
The department of Electrical Engineering and Computing Sciences at RIT Dubai is seeking applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time faculty position at the assistant or associate professor rank in Cybersecurity. Responsibilities include teaching and education activities in the broad area of cybersecurity fundamentals, cryptography, network and system security, secure software development, threat analysis, digital forensics, cloud and IoT security, governance, risk, and compliance. Other responsibilities include development of courses and laboratories, advising undergraduate and graduate students, supervising students in their capstones or theses, participating in institution services and committee works, and engaging in research, scholarly work, and professional service activities.
The selected candidate is expected to start in August 2026 in Dubai.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD degree from an accredited institution in Cybersecurity or a closely related field with a concentrated coursework in computing security.
• A previous teaching experience in the required domain.
• A strong research portfolio with a preference to applied research in collaboration with the industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
