Research Opportunity

Work description

  • Familiarization with the various technologies and platforms currently being used in the project;
  • Studying and maturing the various techniques and tools developed so far in the context of the project;
  • Implementing an integrated flow that makes it possible to use the various techniques and tools mentioned above;
  • Evaluate the integrated flow by applying it in the context of design space exploration;
  • Write the grant activity report.

 

Academic Qualifications

PhD student or non-degree student.

 

Minimum profile required

  • Programming experience (both in high-level languages such as Java and JavaScript and low-level languages such as C and C++);
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

 

Preference factors

  • Experience in compilers (ASTs, IRs):
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, including assembly languages:
  • Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written):
  • Familiarity with build systems based on make or cmake

 

Maintenance stipend: € 1259,64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

 

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
