A Research Fellow position is available at Singapore Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The main role is to design and fabricate next-generation flexible sensory devices. Potential candidates should be able to independently conduct research with strong self-motivation and exploration spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop flexible and stretchable sensors for complex IR signal detection, advancing wearable device functionality.

• Regularly perform materials and device synthesis, fabrication and characterization.

• Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences .

• Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students, fostering an environment of learning and innovation within the project team.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should hold a Ph.D. Degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.

• Expertise in IR radiation sensing, IR emission regulation.

• Solid knowledge in human-machine interaction.

• Solid knowledge in advanced manufacturing of nanomaterials and soft structures.

• Capable of design and assemble of device prototypes.
