DIVERSITY MENTOR PROFESSORSHIP IN ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Florida International University invites applicants for a senior faculty position (Associate Professor or Professor) as part of FIU’s Diversity Mentor Professorship Initiative to recruit excellent STEM faculty with a history and commitment to the mentorship of students from underrepresented and underserved populations, particularly women and Hispanic-American and African-American students.
We will consider applications in all areas of electrical and computer engineering, including: Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics; Computer Systems, IoT, Cloud/Edge Computing and Cyber Physical Systems; Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Analog/Digital VLSI design and Quantum Computing. We invite applicants performing experimental, theoretical, computational, or applied research in any of these areas. Candidates that can contribute to the growth of these research centers and institute are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be expected to have outstanding records of scholarly publications, research support, and teaching.
