The Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Kansas State University is seeking excellent applicants with a background in mechanical or nuclear engineering or a related field for a tenure track position at all levels (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) Tenure may be offered at the level of Associate or Full Professor.

The areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Thermal, Solid Mechanics, Controls, composites and Nanomaterials, energy systems, internal combustion engines, advanced manufacturing, experimental fluid dynamics, autonomous and intelligent systems, radiation detection and sensors, and other emerging areas.

What You’ll Need to Succeed: Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or other closely related engineering discipline.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
