Job Purpose
The department of Electrical Engineering and Computing Sciences at RIT Dubai is seeking applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time faculty position at the assistant or associate professor rank in Computing and Information Technologies (CIT). Responsibilities include teaching and education activities in the broad area of programming development, including Python, Java, Assembly language, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, in addition to software engineering, including software development fundamentals, software design and architecture, software requirements and modeling, operating systems concepts, software testing and quality assurance, version control and DevOps practices, and hands-on software development using modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools. Other responsibilities include development of courses and laboratories, advising undergraduate students, supervising students in their capstones, participating in institution services and committee works, and engaging in research, scholarly work, and professional service activities.
The selected candidate is expected to start in August 2026 in Dubai.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology or a closely related field with a concentrated coursework in software development and engineering.
- A previous teaching experience in the required domain.
- A strong research portfolio with a preference to applied research in collaboration with the industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
