Khalifa University and the College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences have launched a new initiative to become a global hub focused on quantum computing research and establish themselves as leaders in advanced technology research and innovation.
We invite applications for multiple faculty positions in the field of quantum information science and engineering. Research areas can include, but are not limited to, quantum computing, quantum optimization, quantum sensing and encoding, quantum machine learning, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments.
Faculty will be expected to develop and maintain an internationally recognized research program, teach undergraduate and graduate classes, and actively participate in their department, the College, and the University.
Qualifications
Assistant Professor: Ph.D. + A minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to the position and proven research potential.
Associate Professor: Ph.D. + A minimum of 8 years of experience relevant to the position, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Professor: Ph.D. + A minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the position, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor
