The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (engineering.tufts.edu/cee) at Tufts University (www.tufts.edu/) seeks candidates for a part-time Professor of the Practice position in the area of Environmental Health Engineering.  Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in environmetal health engineering and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. 

We seek applicants with expertise in environmental health engineering.  Principal responsibilities will include graduate and undergraduate instruction and mentorship, and University and professional service.  The successful candidate will join our Environmental Health Engineering program with strengths in Public Health Engineering.  Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of teaching.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will join an active department that offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. programs, and thus must demonstrate excellence in teaching and an interest in mentoring graduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include two courses per year and mentoring of M.S. students in the Environmental Health graduate program.
