We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow/Research Fellow(SRF/RF) to carry out research in robotics and machine learning by exploring cutting-edge approaches such as learning-based robot perception, adaptive control with reinforcement learning, multimodal sensor fusion, and safe human-robot collaboration. Emphasis will be on methods that enable robots to learn complex skills from data and adapt robustly to dynamic, uncertain environments. The role involves horizon-scanning for emerging research directions, synthesizing technical ideas, and drafting sections aligned with national priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in robotics and machine learning, focusing on data-driven robot perception, adaptive control, sensor fusion, and safe human-robot interaction.

Publish findings in top-tier journals/conferences.

Assist in preparing competitive CRP research project grant proposals, including reviewing literature, shaping technical aims, and drafting relevant sections.

Collaborate with faculty, research staff, and students on joint robotics and AI projects and support the supervision of graduate students.

Engage with industry or academic partners when required to explore collaborative opportunities and contribute to project deliverables.
Job Requirements:

PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with strong background in robotics and machine learning.

At least 4 years of research experience in related area.

Publications in top-tier journals and/or conference presentations as first author is highly preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
