Artificial Intelligence + Computational Linguistics
Work description
Corpora will be provided to the researcher. The task is to annotate the corpora according to provided guidelines given by the linguist expert Purificação Silvano. The tool Inception will be used for annotation and curation.
The resulting corpora will be used for the development of NLP models.
Academic Qualifications
- Enrollment in a BSc in Language Sciences.
- Conclusion of 90 ECTSs of a BSc in Language Sciences.
Minimum profile required
- Previous experience with annotation.
- Excellent knowledge of Portuguese.
Preference factors
- Knowledge of Portuguese Semantics, particularly in the areas of Tense, Aspect and Nominal Reference.
- Familiarity with computational tools and technologies.
Maintenance stipend: € 601,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
